A Bit Frightful

"You know, I don't know about this doctrine of assassination, but if he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it. It's a whole lot cheaper than starting a war, and I don't think any oil shipments will stop."
He continued: "We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability. We don't need another $200 billion (US) war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator. It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with."

Pat Robertson

He's retarded. I suspect he's part of the Bush team. No wonder people have no faith in the church or in God. Look who we put on TV as our spokespeople. Look at the people that are doing things 'in the name of the Lord'. Sheesh. It's interesting and confounding to look around and notice that nobody has any use for God until something goes wrong, or until something big needs backed and they decide that they got The Calling. And then they all wonder where He went to. Where do you think He is? He's watching this whole mess that we call 'life' go down the toilet because we've said "back off", "get out of schools", "keep your mouth shut", "I don't need you". He's probably just listened to us. And backed off. I'm sad because I'm part of that group. God's not stupid. It's just too bad that we are. We're a fairly pathetic bunch.

"It's like a moth turning into a butterfly - it's the struggle out of the cocoon that pumps blood into its wings, making it strong enough to navigate the wind. Without that struggle, the wings would come out, but deformed where it matters most - the inside. Pretty but no strength."
