Friday morning at the Save Easy

Smarts, Kiki and I all come from a very small town. It's a hoot to come back to and it's always a relief to leave - there are all sorts of colourful characters around. Just this morning I ran into Kiki's unconventional grandmother, lovingly referred to as "mom brown". Mom Brown is full of piss and vinegar and we have 'a right good time' whenever we're around. She's 82 and will likely outlive us all.

She was off to find some mix for her liquor.

This is what I aspire to.

Ha! Small towns are a riot. Sounds like fun. I hope I'm mixing my own drinks when I'm seniorish!
