Part Three

Ok, one more and then I'm going back to Agnes Macphail...

WOULD YOU:

If someone close to you was dying - in a lot of pain from a terminal illness - and you could give them blood (or some other bodily something) that would sustain their life for six more months, knowing that this would not alleviate their state in any way, shape or form (they'd still be in pain, and still be terminal) would you?

Comments?

If they asked me to, I would. Even though it would kill me to see them suffer. IF they weren't in a position to ask or communicate their wishes then it would be a really very hard decision.

PS. Don't go anywhere!

if they couldn't communicate then i wouldn't offer because i wouldn't want to see them suffer any longer. however, if they asked me to help them, i would in a heartbeat.

yes, unless the pain was unbearable for them or if they didn't want to live any more.

I might give them blood but otherwise NO.

Apparently I'm a very hateful person.

haha

It's a tough call. Can't say that I have an answer for it - atleast not one that's cut and dried.

but then again, how selfish that person would be to ask that of you only to end up dying when you could have given your other kidney to someone who needed as well and would live.
